Lembaga Teknologi Mahasiswa Islam, Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam, Branch of East Makassar will serve the organizing committee. The collaborative community service will come together with IBK NITRO, BOLT, and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
The collaboration reaches new heights with the official participation of the Institut Agama Islam (IAI) Rawa Aopa Konawe Selatan, which joins as a partner for this international program. Their involvement is instrumental, as it brings a dedicated focus to the social-religious pillar, ensuring that the community service efforts are grounded in spiritual values and social ethics. By integrating their expertise in Islamic studies and community development, IAI Rawa Aopa will play a role in facilitating interfaith dialogue and moral guidance, truly enriching the program’s holistic approach to serving the local population within the UNESCO Geopark.
Set against the backdrop of world-class karst landscapes, this program aims to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world application while honoring the rich traditions of the South Sulawesi region. The core mission of this year’s service project is to foster environmental stewardship and educational empowerment.
