STAI DDI Makassar Kembali Selenggarakan Konferensi Internasional ICSHAIS 2025 bersama IAI Rawa Aopa Konawe Selatan

Rawaaopakonsel.ac.id, Andoolo – Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Darud Da’wah wal Irsyad (STAI DDI) Kota Makassar akan kembali menjadi tuan rumah perhelatan akbar International Conference on Social and Humanities Approach to Islamic Studies (ICSHAIS) pada November 2025 mendatang. Kali ini, STAI DDI Makassar menggandeng Institut Agama Islam (IAI) Rawa Aopa Konawe Selatan sebagai mitra kolaborasi utama (Selasa, 22 Juli 2025).

ICSHAIS sendiri bukanlah nama baru dalam kancah konferensi internasional di bidang studi Islam. Ajang ini telah menunjukkan konsistensinya sejak pertama kali diadakan. Pada tahun 2020, ICSHAIS memulai debutnya dengan kolaborasi antara IAIN Gorontalo (sekarang IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo) dan STAI DDI Makassar, sebagaimana diberitakan sebelumnya di situs IAIN Gorontalo.

Kemudian, ICSHAIS 2022 melangkah lebih jauh secara internasional. Konferensi ini sukses diselenggarakan di Hatyai, Thailand, melalui kerja sama strategis antara STAI DDI Makassar, Southeast Asian Academic Mobility (SEAAM), dan Andaman Anatolian Technology College (Thailand).

Kini, di tahun 2025, ICSHAIS kembali ke tanah air dengan mitra dengan melangkah bersama IAI Rawa Aopa Konawe Selatan. Kolaborasi ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya diskusi dan memperluas jangkauan keilmuan dalam bidang studi Islam, sosial, dan humaniora.

“Insya Allah, ICSHAIS 2025 akan berlangsung pada November mendatang,” ujar Ismail Suardi Wekke usai bertemu dengan pihak STAI DDI Makassar di Hotel Claro. “Kami optimis konferensi ini akan menjadi wadah penting bagi para akademisi, peneliti, dan praktisi untuk berbagi gagasan, temuan, serta inovasi terbaru dalam studi Islam di era kontemporer.”
