IAI Rawa Aopa Konawe Selatan Bersiap Gabung Jejaring ACER-N untuk Penguatan Riset Regional

Rawaaopakonsel.ac.id, Konawe Selatan – Institut Agama Islam (IAI) Rawa Aopa Konawe Selatan menunjukkan komitmennya dalam memperluas jangkauan kerja sama di tingkat regional. Kali ini, institusi pendidikan tinggi tersebut secara resmi menyatakan minatnya untuk bergabung dalam jaringan ASEAN Council for Educational Research Network (ACER-N). Langkah strategis ini diambil sebagai bagian dari upaya peningkatan mutu riset, publikasi ilmiah, serta pengabdian masyarakat yang berbasis pada kolaborasi antarnegara di kawasan Asia Tenggara.

Wakil Rektor Bidang Perencanaan, Keuangan, dan Kepegawaian IAI Rawa Aopa Konawe Selatan, Ismail Suardi Wekke, Ph.D., menegaskan bahwa momentum ini menjadi titik balik yang sangat penting bagi akselerasi akademik kampus. Penguatan jaringan internasional dipandang bukan lagi sekadar pilihan, melainkan sebuah kebutuhan mutlak untuk menjawab tantangan global.

Pihak manajemen kampus pun telah mempersiapkan seluruh instrumen pendukung demi kelancaran proses integrasi ke dalam ekosistem ACER-N tersebut. Mengenai kesiapan institusi, Ismail Suardi Wekke memberikan pernyataan langsung terkait komitmen penuh kampus dalam penjajakan ini.

“Kami melihat ACER-N sebagai platform yang sangat strategis untuk mengintegrasikan potensi riset yang dimiliki oleh dosen dan peneliti IAI Rawa Aopa Konawe Selatan dengan lanskap akademik di Asia Tenggara,” ujarnya saat ditemui di ruang kerjanya. Beliau juga menambahkan mengenai orientasi pengembangan kelembagaan yang sedang berjalan saat ini.

“Bergabungnya kami dalam jejaring ini akan membuka pintu lebar bagi kolaborasi riset multilateral yang berdampak langsung pada akselerasi mutu lulusan serta reputasi kampus di kancah internasional,” kata Ismail, Kamis (4/6/2026).

Lebih lanjut, beliau menggarisbawahi kesiapan tata kelola internal untuk menyambut kemitraan besar tersebut.

“Seluruh jajaran di bidang perencanaan dan keuangan telah dialokasikan secara optimal untuk mendukung implementasi program-program kerja sama internasional yang produktif dan berkelanjutan,” tegasnya.

Di sisi lain, terdapat beberapa poin krusial yang disampaikan melalui pernyataan tidak langsung dari sang Wakil Rektor. Ismail Suardi Wekke menjelaskan bahwa keikutsertaan dalam jaringan kerja sama regional seperti ACER-N menjadi sebuah kesempatan untuk meningkatkan peluang mendapatkan jejaring penelitian kolaboratif global yang dihasilkan oleh sivitas akademika kampus secara signifikan.

Selain itu, beliau menyampaikan bahwa manajemen IAI Rawa Aopa Konawe Selatan tengah menyusun peta jalan integrasi kurikulum berbasis riset yang relevan dengan standar serta dinamika pendidikan di kawasan ASEAN. Dalam kesempatan yang sama, beliau memaparkan bahwa keterlibatan ini juga diharapkan mampu menarik minat para peneliti luar negeri untuk melakukan kolaborasi riset terapan di wilayah Konawe Selatan.

Langkah penjajakan ini langsung mendapat respons positif dari seluruh elemen di internal senat dan fakultas. Kehadiran IAI Rawa Aopa Konawe Selatan di dalam ACER-N diproyeksikan akan memperkuat posisi tawar institusi dalam berbagai forum ilmiah internasional formal. Dengan komitmen yang kuat serta dukungan tata kelola kepegawaian yang profesional, proses aplikasi keanggotaan ini diharapkan dapat segera rampung dalam waktu dekat.
